Splitting from its ancestor, the pudgy sucker foi has adapted to the effulgent scylarian, feeding on its blood supply as it attaches onto them. It has evolved pseudopod-like limbs that increase its stomach area and allows it to latch onto it due to a new evolutionary feature. Unlike its ancestor, it can shed its root-like structures in order to avoid predators, moving along the surface of the effulgent scylarian with flopping body motions. Once safe, it will regrow them and then resume feeding. Its flesh, likes its ancestors, is still bitter to the taste.
