Ancestor:Descendants:

When some of the puffkin shrubs grew in the Huggs Marsh and Huggs River, they immediately had to adapt to their environment; one important adaptation it went through is that it became taller, due to the increased water and other nutrients in the soil. Another change is that it has bigger leaves, which help them gain more sunlight. They have also evolved more fruit than their ancestor. This helps attract more creatures to them.

The puffkin tree still reproduces the same way its ancestor did; it has many seeds inside which have hard shells with a bitter layer. When the creature eat the tasty fruit it will ingest the seeds. The seeds will secrete the bitter chemicals later in the day and give them indigestion, thus having them vomit out some of the seeds in a new spot, which then immediately begin to grow. However, creatures cannot resist the extremely sweet taste of the puffkin tree.
