The purple bubbleshrub split from purple bubbleweed. Due to the success of purple liverwarts, it grew up rather than around. It also was fed upon by herbivorous plent, so its trunk has hardened with a thick fire resistant bark as well as a new defense. Rather than waiting for fire or lighting to explode the hydrogen filled bubbles, it can produce a chemical reaction to ignite the hydrogen and burn herbivores that might eat it. This is very effective, since the herbivorous plent are more flammable than a normal animal. Unlike before, the purple bubbleshrub can now survive these burns with minimum damage to themselves. Only a few exploded seeds and leaf clusters. They still reproduce by bubble-like seeds that blow off and travel far away in the wind.
