Ancestor:Descendants:

The saltballs replaced its ancestor the stickyballs on the beaches of Huggs island. They were so successful that they caused purpletop and fieldballs to become extinct on the beach as well. The reason for this is it thrives in salty environments, thus pushing the other stickyball relatives to the interior of the island. Any excess salt is expelled out, which makes it unappetizing to pakahes.
