Ancestor:Descendants:

The saltglobe split from its ancestor and has doubled in size. It only lives at Darwin Polar Beach. It absorbs saltwater, which is split in normal water and salt. The salt is stored in the leathery hull, which makes it inedible for most herbivores. The spores of the saltglobe already begin to bud in the core of the saltglobe. When too much of the spores bud, the hull of the saltglobe will burst and the new saltglobes will be released.
