The '''savanna spire''' split from it's ancestor, [[Savanna Shards|savanna shards]]. After organisms started to stop living near the savanna spire's ancestor, it had more room to grow. Around this time the crystal were experiencing a mutation from intense radiation exposure from the sun, that caused the center of the shard clusters to become more dense. With more room and a core that could better support a tall structure in it's center, this crystals ancestor grew a central spire in order to spread out the radiation from the sun. This group of mutated savanna shards then became savanna spires. |
