The '''shelled enomena''' replaced its ancestor, on one of its sides are thin skin pouches in which it collects and compacts sand as a type of shell defense/camouflage against predators, on the other side is an pouch inside it which it stores water to support its structure, when in danger it empties this pouch which causes its body to curl on that side so the shells face up.
