Since it can no longer uncurl, its claws are now uses as feet as well to move around the bottom. They are quite heavy and stay at the bottom like a rock. They only eat malakommalis infected animals. Their malakommalis shell is not only tough against predators, but those predators that do try to eat them get infected as well, thus providing the shellpede with a food source.
