The Signaling Sauceback replaced the Two-Tailed Sauceback by being slightly larger, and much more aggressive. The four tusks of the Sauceback have grown larger, and its two tails have developed glowing purple membranes. These membranes can be used to confuse or warn off other organisms wandering too close to their pregnant mates, or eggs. Since they themselves lack eyes, the flashing membranes don't effect other Saucebacks. The primary uses of these membranes are to scare off scavengers, as the Saucebacks already have more than enough advantages when it comes to hunting, and the energy spent to use these organs is a waste when it can just charge almost all the prey in its environment.
