The '''sledohness''' split off from the [[Sea Sledodil|sea sledodil]] a bit later then the [[Blue Sledodil|blue sledodil]] did. It evolved alongside the Blue Sledodil and the two species often fought for food and survival. Since the blue sledodil grew bigger the sledohness was the victim, making it critical to it to be able to defend itself. Therefore they evolved thick skin on their backs as well as scale-like defensive "plates". They also evolved sturdier and more muscular and bigger, though not as big as the blue sledodil.

The sledohness who lived close to the beach had bigger chance to survive since the Blue Sledodil was more common in the deep areas, making the sledohness migrate completely to the east coast of Glicker continent. They do have a chance against the blue sledodil, because of their ability to attack in packs. It is common that packs of 4-8 sledohness "patrol" the area and attack predators when the females are pregnant. The eggs are laid on the beach so that they wont need the parents supervision and to protect them from sea predators. The eggs have therefore grown much bigger and evolved a thick solid peel. The bigger eggs means that the females does not have as many babies at the same time, but the lifespan of the sledohness has increased. The newborn babies are born hungry and curious, making them "rush" towards the ocean dragging themselves forward with their fins.
