Due to their success, some of the [[slugworm]]s moved out into the surrounding savanna. On the rich pickings of the grasses and dead matter, the slugworm very quickly grew much bigger and has evolved into a much more effective ‘hunter’. Its wings now secrete an extremely sticky substance. Whilst feeding on [[Violetgrass]], the worm releases odors into the air, attracting flying worms of all kinds.
