Splitting from their ancestor, the stalkglobe has, like its name suggests, developed a stalk-like root in order to not be blown away by the wind as well as to better absorb nutrients. Growing in massive clusters, they have formed large patches of micro-forests all over Xeno Tundra Island. New stalkglobes bud off the main body, and are then blown off by the wind. When they reach a secure area, they take root and rapidly grow to adulthood. A darker color variant exists along the southern end of the island, and only along the "midway" point of the island do both grow together.
