Ancestor:Descendants:

The sulfur bubblehorn replaced its ancestor, the spikedshell bubblehorn, on Flisch Beach. Like its ancestor it spends most of its day eating the excrement of other animals in the sand. However Flisch Beach has a high amount of sulfur that drifts here from the Rhodix Vents, thus it eats a high amount of it in its diet; so much so that it has cause its coloring to change to an orange-yellow color. It can use some chemical energy from the sulfur as well. Like its ancestor its searches out food using its smelling bubblehorns. Its shell has also gotten thicker so predators such as the batworm cannot eat them.
