The trispourus rotujuceprimus replaced its ancestor. It is very simply an upgrade from its predecessor, longer flagellum, longer mouth tentacles. And they are now an eight celled organism, making it twice the size it's ancestor was. They have learned to live in both salt water and fresh water by evolving a vacuole that, when in salt water, excretes the salt so that the cell doesn't dissolve, and when in freshwater, stores some of the salt from the saltwater so that the salt neutralizes the water level within the cell.
