The umbrellatop replaced the stumpworm sucker of the BigL Beach. In order to adapt to the hot tropical climate, its tail-claw can change into an umbrella-like shape, so that it can stay cool. Its hollow tooth has taken a curved position. This helps it flip over and eat spikedshell bubblehorns. It stabs onto its prey and pierces it with an acidic liquid. This fluid digests the prey, and it sucks the goo out with its hollow tooth.
Other minor adaptations include better eyesight, becoming bigger, and it has a stockier body. Its coloration now matches the white sand and the purple windglobes.
