Velishroot: Difference between revisions

The [[Shrew Plague|shrew plague]] wiped out many different kinds of Shrew except for a select few. One of them was the [[River Shrew|river shrew]]. When all of the Shrewsshrews in Flisch Savanna died out, some of the [[Riverriver Shrew]]sshrews moved out onto the land and evolved into '''Velishrootsvelishroots'''. Unlike its ancestor, the Velishrootvelishroot has a more varied diet ranging from [[Stickyballsstickyballs]] to [[Batwormbatworm]]s. The Velishrootvelishroot has also evolved bigger ears, which not only help it hear better but it also helps them keep cool. The Velishrootvelishroot has become significantly faster than its ancestor, which allows them to escape predators. Other changes include a better set of teeth, excellent eyesight, an immunity to Batwormbatworm poison, and a stronger sense of smell.

The Velishrootvelishroot has also spread out into different biomes that include the temperate forest, savanna, and the swamp. They each have a different color for each biome. The one shown is a forest Velishrootvelishroot, but the ones on the savanna have reddish-brown fur with pink stripes and the swamp ones have orange fur and blue stripes.

Despite having many physical changes, the Velishrootvelishroot's behavior is quite similar to its ancestor. They still live in small groups, but they reduced to 5-8 members. They still live in deep and large burrows and play with each other. The pouch of the female Velishrootvelishroot can still seal up tightly when swimming or escaping a fire. They still continue to display sexual dimorphism.
