Despite having many physical changes, the Velishroot's behavior is quite similar to its ancestor. They still live in small groups, but they reduced to 5-8 members. They still live in burrows and play with each other. The pouch of the female Velishroot can still seal up tightly when swimming or escaping a fire. They still continue to display sexual dimorphism.
