The vent plerp replaced its ancestor the plerp in Rhodix Vents. Its flagellum have becomes sharp proboscis to help it pierce through the thick membrane of protohydroia octherma. It has shrunk in side as well thickening up its cell wall to protect it from the extreme heat of the vents. This thick cell wall and many proboscises allowed for it to survive better than protomancerxia thermaparasitica and thus caused them to become extinct.
