Ancestor:Descendants:

The Windglobe worm has split from it's ancestor. One day, a gust of wind sent some Palmshrub Worms into the troposphere. There they found shelter from the Cloud Sweeper and evolved into the Windglobe Worm.

It's wings look like the Cloud Sweeper and since airborne bacteria are the most numerous source of food, they have developed bristles on it's mouth and chemoreceptors, which still work. It nests on the top of the Cloud Sweeper at night and flies around capturing bacteria during the day. Its wings are always working whilst the worm is in the air.
