Splitting from its ancestor, the '''yellowstripe gilltail''' has followed the [[Jujubee Korystal|jujubee korystal]], into new areas. The main change to the yellowstripe gilltail is the yellow stripes on its fins. This change is exclusive to the males of the species, and used to attract the opposite sex. Some other minor changes are the slightly pointier beaks, and changes in fin shape, making the yellowstripe gilltails more hydrodynamic.
