The abello rustballs replaced their ancestor the rustballs on the iron rich beaches of Abello. They are just like its ancestor except now they are 10x larger. To make itself more sturdy and hardy the abello rustballs metabolizes iron oxide out of the ground and uses it to build internal iron structures. It also uses the oxide to coat the surfaces of the balls in order to prevent too much water from escaping due to osmosis. It still photosynthesis with the purple pigment under the rust coating. They clump together, forming mounds up to 1 meter wide.
