The photosynthesis of the algaaquila works differently from the one of the purple plants and plents. It absorbs all light, making it look black. However, its photosynthesis isn't as efficient as the others', and it couldn't displace other plants. Due to the fact that it heats up faster and is more heavy, it can live in places which would be too cold for other plants. It often covers big areas, preventing the growth of other plants.
