Ancestor:Descendants:

The always bubbleweed split from tis ancestor the coastal bubbleweed. It has re-adapted to a freshwater environment. It has grown a little bigger and has a stronger trunk. Like its ancestors the hydrogen filled "bubble seed" not only keep the leaves upright but also can fall off and float into the air as well as the water. They reproduce asexually.

Living Relatives (click to show/hide)

These are randomly selected, and organized from lowest to highest shared taxon. (This may correspond to similarity more than actual relation)
  • Marine Bubbleweed (genus Aquaspherica)
  • Kosemen Bubbleweed (subfamily Aquasphericoideae)
  • Bubblily (family Aquasphericaceae)
  • Marine Mine Layer (order Aquasphericales)
  • Susannasapper's Tangle (class Physallothallopsida)
