The stiffened feathers on the backs of antlered worms have evolved into antler-like structures. These will be used as antlers during mating seasons, but because Antlered Worms are hermaphrodites, the mating rituals are a little bit strange. During mating season, three worms come together on a toppled giant pambu trunk and they'll fight with each other, trying to hustle one worm over the edge of the trunk and onto the ground. The two remaining worms will mate, and both will lay eggs beneath the trunk.
