The azelak scavenger evolved from the azelak, descending from the high mountains. It became an omnivore, eating whatever it could find. Sometimes it even hunted other creatures, such as the Gliding Sagworm. The azelak scavenger have even been known to use their long reaper claws to create a small hole in binucleus hollow crystals and feast on its fleshy core. The azelak scavenger quickly spread throughout the region. The tundra region is a bit too cold for the azelak scavenger, and the Huggs-Yokto Desert and Huggs-Yokto Savanna too hot and dry. In the alpine region, they're almost only found in valleys near water. When it travels, it either runs or jumps around, using is long tail to balance. During the summer, pelts are short, almost non-existent. During the winter, their fur grows long.
