The baobab crystal tree replaced the crystal tree in Huggs-Yokto Savanna. Due to the extreme climate of the dry and wet seasons in the savanna it needed to adapt. Its trunk has grown huge to save up water from the wet season for when there is no water for the dry season. Its crystal "fruits" keep in moisture well. Dozens of these crystalline "fruits" grow on the branches and drop off during dry season. This gives the local fauna something to eat when there is very little to eat, thus spreading the spores around until the wet season comes to help them start to grow.
