The beachballs split from its ancestor, the rustballs, and spread across the eastern beaches of Wright. Since there was no iron in these beaches, it no longer absorbed iron oxide, and thus returned to the purple hue of stickyballs. It also can excretes salt much more efficiently than its ancestor. It has doubled in size as well. Most of the beaches it has spread to had no flora and thus it dominates over them.
