Due to force that the winds carried through on the Boardlilly its "rope" formed one second sail, giving more support and resistance for this lilly. Moreover, it reduced a little the length of its roots, reducing the attrition with the water and the possibility of setting of parasites, becoming soft its movement in the sea.
