The blinking bandersnatch replaced its ancestor, the glowing bandersnatch. It has doubled its wingspan to allow it to fly. Its more stout body helps retain heat. It has lost most of its "wart-lights", however it still has some on its front limbs. With such large wings it covers them up most of the time thus causing them to "blink" in flight. While they can still communicate through lights they will also communicate with wing movements too. They have evolved webbed feet in case they get washed into the water, as well as having evolved their butt-nostrils into tailfins. These work like tail feathers except they have a membrane between the 4 butt-nostrils. This helps them adjust their flight path when flying. Like its ancestor it eats anything that washes up on the beach. They still live in flocks and are first to arrive at carrion. Their shorter jaws allow them to crush bone.
