Ancestor:Descendants:

Some skyskimmers found it hard to find food in the lower region of the atmosphere and needed to go higher. They split off from the skyskipper and evolved a larger Hydrogen sac, but needed the rest to grow bigger so they wouldn't leave the atmosphere completely. Their beaks grew larger and their fin/wing things evolved more bulky. Their eyes grew more sensitive and less blurred and because of that, the need for their antenna has gone down. To catch small flying plents and other small creatures, they use their more defined hands, but if they are going after a beaked areal killer plent they will stab their beak into it back and suck the blood from there. Of course not many survive fighting a beaked areal killer plent.
