Ancestor:Descendants:

Brain shrubite split from its ancestor crystal shrubite. Like its ancestor It snatches up any objects it can in the water, gulps up whatever nutrients it might contain, and then builds it's shell around it. With time, these structures can grow huge. Unlike its ancestor it produces a gooey film over the top of it which is bitter. This causes species like the poison urchip, shelled urchip and chambered urchip to not want to eat it. It gets its name from the shape it grows in, which resembles a brain.
