The calciutine split from its ancestor, the nixoutine. It made its way to Badger Limestone Caves where it absorbs the calcium from limestone. Like its ancestor they can convert inorganic materials into energy. They use pseudopods to gather up calcium. It grows everywhere from the cave walls to stalactites and stalagmites. They reproduce via mitosis.
