Splitting from its ancestor, the carnivorous cryobowl has used its ancestors symbiotic relationship with the drake cloudswarmer for its own devious needs. Mimicking it almost perfectly, it produces weak digestive enzymes that is rather sticky and mimics the liquid held within its bowl. As the drake cloudswarmer climbs inside of it, it becomes trapped and is slowly digested over several days should it not be able to escape in time. It uses the nutrients to nourish itself with whatever it can't obtain on its own. The seeds it produces produce scents that attract such species as the diveskunik and others. They feed on the seeds and eventually pass them out, after which they will grow into new flora.
