The carpomarine guttoplaque has replaced its ancestor, the guttoplaque in the seas of Sagan 4. It lives only inside the marine carpozoa's digestive tracks. It lives much like its ancestor helping in the digestion of food. It has developed more advanced organelles for better food consumption. They reproduce through mitosis.
