Ancestor:Descendants:

The Cauda replaced the Nolaguru. After many of the trees which fruit it depended on disappeared the Cauda started eating seeds, Fluffytree seeds. To be able to get up to the seeds they have evolved their jumping ability to the next step by evolving a flat tail to help shove its body higher. It is a very strange sight to see a group of Cauda jumping from leaf to leaf to reach the top of a Fluffytree, especially when it is the time of the year when the female Cauda are on heat; then the males compete at getting to the top of the Fluffytrees to impress the females, and they don't hesitate to use mean ways to win. The Cauda is, as its ancestor was, a very social animal and works like it in many ways with a few more changes; The ears are shaped so they will fold nicely when jumping and not be in the way, the mouth has adjusted to eating seeds, the toes are longer to provide a better jumping technique and the breathing tube on its back have grown shorter to reduce air resistance.
