Ancestor:Descendants:

Some wooly azelaks occasionally ventured into the giant pambu forests. Cut off from the other woolly azelaks by a fruitless tundra for most of the year, they diverged as a separate species. They have grown much bigger due to the abundant food available in the pambu forests, but most of this bulk is given over to holding a colossal system of many-chambered stomachs to digest the tough leaves and bark. Although in direct competition with the planda, this doesn't really affect the colloselak much, as the planda eats only tender young shoots, while the colloselak indiscriminately strips both leaves and trunk for anything edible. The colloselak barges through the forest, trampling plant and animal alike and felling pambu to eat. The colloselak spends half the day eating and the other half chewing the cud and sleeping.
