Splitting from the colonial crocusium, the colonial crosaltium moves to the Darth Lava Tube Sea Caves. Like its ancestor it can live as an individual cell, but they usually form symbiotical colonies. That way the energy that each cell creates is send to feed the entire colony. They can mostly be found at the enter of the cave, but some colonies live deeper in the cave. To do that, the colonial crosaltium can feed on salt too. It is slightly transparent, so all cells can get light. The benefit of being colonial is that the surface area for sunlight increases. The cell size shrank, that way less energy is needed.
