The crestgrove split from its ancestor, spreading to the neighboring coastal biomes. It hasn't changed that much from its ancestor, the one major difference is their leaves, which have gotten smaller and increased in number, meaning more surface area for photosynthesis. Its body has become more robust with the addition of insulating cells; its circular base is capable of storing food for use in particularly cold periods. Its roots now grow in a pattern rather than miscellaneously. It can be found in shallow water.
