The cryosqualinia split from it ancestor, the cryosagania. It is much like its ancestor, but forms shorter chains of cells, that eventually detach from the old primal cell to form new chains. Each cell evolved a new pair of long flagella, boosting its movement when in water. It will stay dormant in the winter and get as much light as possible in the summer, when it is daylight all the time. It is 100 micrometers long.
