Ancestor:Descendants:

The crystalgrass dunghorn split from its ancestor, the dunghorn and spread to the north and inland. There it had adapted to camouflage itself to look like crystal rootgrass. Like its relative it will lay its eggs in puddles or into the marsh waters. It still feeds mainly on dung though it also adapted to feed on decaying crystal-flora of all kind.

It uses its small graspers to take the dung into its mouth, while its olfactory sensors horns have grown bigger and away from the ground so they will not be damaged and lose their sensitivity. They still move rather slowly, wandering from one crystal rootgrass patch to another feeding on their way.
