Ancestor:Descendants:

The Cushprongs split from its ancestor, making its way to the waterways of Northern Dixon. Having to compete with the stocky Mertiprong, the Cushprong has grown taller and thinner and lighter to push up through the dense cover of its rival; Its quills have grown thinner to further reduce the load on the thinner stalks. Other than this change, it's the same as its ancestor.
