Ancestor:Descendants:

The desert notooth split off from the notooth and evolved to become faster than its ancestor. Its two toes split into three, it became smaller, skinnier and more lightly-built so that it could run faster. It developed long eyelashes to protect its eyes from the dust and the sun. It also has bigger teeth to crunch off big portions of bubble cactus. However, unlike its ancestor, its offspring are precocial. This means that upon birth, they are abandoned by their parents to fend for themselves.
