Ancestor:Descendants:

The cragagon split from its ancestor. When some trogagon entered the Darwin High Grassland, Darwin Rocky, and Darwin Polar Scrub, they have found a place that not only had fewer predators, but also less competition from other species. In such an environment, the cragagon had to adapt rather quickly. In order for it to navigate through the craggy land of the Darwin Rocky, the cragagon evolved a backward-facing toe on each foot that allows it to grasp onto the rocks as it is moving around. The cragagon has also evolved a longer tail, which helps keep its balance when climbing the rocks. In order to fend off predators, the cragagon's wooden spines extend all the way to the neck and tail. Its ancestor's snorkel-nostril has also shrunken down to stay hidden amongst the wooden spines. The cragagon has also become slightly smaller and slimmer as means of helping it move around faster than its ancestor. Due to the cragagon not needing to compete as much as its ancestor did, the cragagon has become less aggressive. The cragaon has also evolved a more golden pigment that helps it hide amongst the golden rocks of the Darwin Rocky. Due to its success in the Darwin High Grassland and Darwin Rocky, it has spread out into Vivus Volcanic, and Blocks Volcanic.
