The dulcidust bubblehorn replaced its ancestor on Clayren Beach, developing a more varied diet. Now, beyond feeding from fresh excrements, the dulcidust also feeds from dust particles, dry airborne cells and pallenidust's water puddles. In order to better catch its food, it developed fine coats in the extremities of its horns, which, raised and exposed to the wind, allow the adhesion of small particles.

Its shell is harder and more resistant and, due to its small size, now it can hide only part of the body. The horns remain exposed and shrink, being fold backwards between the shell's spikes. During strong winds the creature protects itself, in order to prevent the loss of functionality of its horns, which can be heavy and filled with sand. If the dulcidust loses part of its horns, will be able to renew it after some time.

Living in microforests of pallenidusts, it puts its eggs into the small water puddles created by them, which will serve as an initial food source for the offspring.
