The dungat split from it's ancestor the norat. It migrated from Huggs Temperate Woodland to Huggs Chaparral and Huggs-Yokto Savanna. It became a small burrowing plent with powerful front paws with sharp claws and large sharp front teeth. The large claws and teeth are used to create large complex burrows systems which sometimes can contain up to 500 adult dungats, these burrow systems are called sets. The dungat are found in the drier areas of the Huggs-Yokto Savanna and Huggs Chaparral. They prefer the dry soft soils in this area. These small creatures are terribly bad tempered. As a group will often cause considerable damage to predators attacking the set. During the dry season, the dungats will leave their sets in search for food. This sometimes causes conflicts between sets. Such conflicts inflict a huge amount of casualties, which are a good time for the predators and scavengers of the area.
