The eardigger replaced its ancestor the snakewurm. It lives much like its ancestor except now it can use its ears to dig and grasp things with. They can be be used for walking if it uses the other 4 limbs. Sadly a lot of sand gets in them so it must shake them out if they wish to hear. It also can "slither" through the dunes to hide from predators. Their toes now run along the side of the feet for broader digging and improved grasping of rocky surfaces. Other than that they are more or less the same as their ancestors in appearance and behavior.
