The enud has replaced the gringlo in the Huggs-Yokto Desert. The enud has adapted to survive in the desert. It´s body became much slimmer for heat loss and for faster movement and it´s skin has become camouflaged to blend in with the environment. The six (three on each side) outgrowths on their head become pink when they reach maturity so others can see that they can be mated with. Their mating behavior is still the same.
Their side flaps are gone except for the spikes, which have now grown larger for protection. Their back flap has become a bright red and orange color so it can be seen very well, and it is now able to lower and raise this flap. They mostly have their flap low, but they raise it when food is found. This way it can signal it´s pack so they can come and feed too. They also use this when danger is nearby. They still have big teeth, but they are hidden inside the mouth so no sand will come between them.
