Ancestor:Descendants:

The sneaky creeper split from its ancestor and left the Rabid Sandstone Caves into the Huggs-Yokto Desert. There because it was not adapted to the day-sun it became nocturnal. As such when dawn comes it will dig itself inside the ground in a small burrow, usually near some plants, and stay folded inside only with the tip of its head uncovered in order to see with its infrared sight when the night comes and the temperatures drop, and for it to breath. Then it will dig itself out only to return again in the following dawn. It digs itself using its fingernail claws it has adapted. These limb have also became slightly bulkier for better knuckle walking, its main form of locomotion now. It lost its gliding membrane completely as it has no use for it now.

Unlike its aggressive ancestor the sneaky creeper no longer kills its prey for blood. It will now sneak behind it, mainly while it is sleeping, and pierce a small hole using its now thinner needle-like fangs. Then it will use its razor tongue to lick the blood and open the wound. In order not to wake its prey the saliva contains anesthetics as well as a weak poison that causes its prey to fall into deeper sleep. It is also quite silent and small and therefore is not detected.

Its young are still kept in the pouch. In night before the mother buries herself she buries her young next to her in a smaller hole and empties them in it. After a few months when they no longer feed on milk they are given coagulated clumps of regurgitated plent blood. After they get bigger, they are brought half-dead prey to practice their killing bites on. When the young are forced to live on their own by their mother, they move into different parts of the desert never to come across with her again.
