The feathery plagu has split from its ancestor. It has adapted to live in the shadow of the featherback snark. It spends it's life swimming behind the snark's fins or under its belly. This offers them protection from predators including the snark itself. The feathery plagu uses the ‘bow wave' caused by the snark's aerodynamics to swim. It relies solely on kills that the snarks make. Once a kill is made they feast as quickly as possible in case the snark moves on or decides to go for them instead.
Each feathered snark can have up to 15 feathery plagu swimming with them. The plague will either mate with their swimming companions or wait until the snarks themselves breed and breed with the other snark's feathery plagu.
