The forest dwellers live in the Flisch and Krakow Temperate Forests and Flisch-Krakow Rainforest. They have split from the mountain dwellers, and have retained the tail and hind leg walking, but now they only use their forelimbs when they lower themselves to the ground for drinking water, mating, and tending their eggs. They have grown larger and now stand almost four meters tall. It uses its height to eat leaves higher up where their is much less competition. The top pair of eyes has atrophied to a tiny nonfunctional size. Their color-changing ability is very limited, only the head and upper necks will change color, and only for interspecies communication
